Infant Feeding Therapy

  • A feeding assessment will help us get to the root cause of what's impacting your babies breast or bottle feeding. 
  • Oral motor therapy will assist with strengthening oral facial muscles to improve coordination and efficiency of your babies fed. 
  • Tongue tie support will allow us to work together if your babies is in need of pre and post tongue and/or lip tie release support. This includes providing assistance with referrals and guidance on optimal timing of release to ensure optimal healing. 


Note: Infant feeding is dynamic and often requires multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. 

Common feeding concerns can include but are not limited to: 

  • Shallow latch
  • Clicking at the breast or bottle
  • Pain when nursing
  • Reflux
  • Falling asleep during or right after feeds
  • Choking or coughing during feeds
  • Poor lip seal
  • Feeds taking an extended amount of time
